There are always lots of properties for sale at any one time. So it is essential to make yours stand out from the rest. This will help you to clinch that sale without dropping your asking price.
However it is important to set a realistic asking price. Get at least 3 valuations from different agents and check out similar properties in your area.
- Kerb appeal - A coat of paint on the front door, window, bars and other areas will go a long way in making your
property much more appealing to passers by and people viewing your property. Plant some nice new plants and spruce up the garden. First impressions are very important.
- Interior Painting - Depersonalize your decor, painting using bright and neutral shades to introduce a light and airy ambience.
- De Clutter - Remove personal items and as much excess furniture and items as possible, clutter will make the rooms look smaller.
- Furniture - Rearrange the furniture to make the most of the living space, rent or borrow some nice pices which will give a show flat appearance.
- Accessorize - Match when ever possible curtains, cushions in the right colours, make a theme to each room.
